La semaine passée, Freddy était en voyage professionnel en Amérique du Nord, je suis donc restée seule pendant six jours avec mon "grand" garçon de presque trois ans et mon petit bébé de sept semaines: pas le temps de m'ennuyer!
Last week Freddy went on a business trip in North America for six days, so I was on my own with my nearly three-year-old "big" boy and my seven weeks-old baby: I did not have time to get bored!
Avant le départ: trop mignon, Lenny pensait que l'avion viendrait chercher son papa devant la maison, c'est pourquoi il regarde en l'air!
Before the big trip: Lenny thought the airplane would come to collect his daddy in our street, this is why he is looking at the sky : so cute!
Il fallait bien occuper Lenny pendant cette longue semaine...
I had to keep Lenny busy so that the week would go faster for him...
En même temps, j'essayais de mettre en place une routine pour Owen, je le couchais donc à heures régulières pour qu'il commence à avoir trois siestes et une longue nuit. Pour les siestes j'en ai obtenu environ deux sur trois, quant aux nuits il se réveillait vers 2h ET 5h30-6h, puis cela réveillait Lenny et la journée commençait...
At the same time I was trying to get Owen into a routine, so that he would sleep at the same time every day. The plan was to get three day naps and a big night: I managed to have two very small naps but the nights were very difficult as Owen woke up at 2am AND at about 5.30-6am, which woke Lenny up and the day began...

Lenny tentait de m'aider à endormir son petit frère... en vain!
Lenny was also trying to get his little brother sleeping... it did not work!
Heureusement le beau temps était au rendez-vous, ainsi nous avons profité du jardin, une belle opportunité pour prendre l'air, se dépenser... et surtout fatiguer mes petits, en théorie!
Fortunatly the weather was nice, so we could enjoy some fresh air in our garden, burn some energy... and above all make them tired, in theory!
Je faisais dormir Owen dans sa poussette près de moi, Disco veillait sur lui durant les nombreuses fois où Lenny avait besoin d'aller aux toilettes, de boire un verre d'eau, puis de retourner aux toilettes...
I put Owen to sleep in his buggy, next to me, Disco was looking after him while Lenny needed numerous trips to the toilets, then he needed some water, then toilets again...
A-t-il l'air d'avoir envie de dormir?!

De temps en temps je pouvais me détendre une dizaine de minutes, lire des magazines, boire un thé (tiède pour ne pas dire froid!) et manger un gâteau que Lenny avait fait à la crèche.
Sometimes I could sit for ten minutes and enjoy my magazines, a cake Lenny baked at the crèche and a cup of tea (cold most of the time!)
Il fallait aussi occuper Owen, futur footballer?
Owen also wanted to play, football player to-be?
Bref, le soir j'étais dans le même état qu'Owen sur cette photo!
In the evening, I was like Owen on this photo!
