L'autre soir, Freddy et moi discutions de ce que nous avions besoin d'acheter dans la nouvelle maison comme un portail (car Lenny trouve la moindre occasion pour s'échaper et aller sur la route), un lave-vaisselle (maintenant que notre cuisine est assez grande pour en installer un), un écran plat... J'ai ajouté que nous ne pouvions pas tout acheter en même temps car nous n'avions pas l'argent pour de telles dépenses en ce moment et la priorité est bien évidemment le portail pour protéger Lenny. Tout à coup, Lenny nous a interrompu pour dire en Anglais "No money no money". D'où cela peut bien venir????!!!! Nous avons bien rit mais avons surtout réalisé qu'il y a des conversations que nous ne devrions plus avoir devant Lenny car il comprends tout.... et dans les deux langues visiblement!!!
The other night Freddy and I were talking about the new equipments we need to buy for the new house such as a front gate (because Lenny always wants to run off the road as soon as we open the door or get out of the car), a dishwasher now that the kitchen is big enough to fit one, a flat screen... I told Freddy that obviously we need to make a list of the priorities as we do not have enough money to buy all those stuff at the same time. And the priority was the gate for safety reasons. Of course this conversation was entirely in French as Freddy and I are both French. Suddenly Lenny interrupted us to say in English "No money no money"! Where did that come from????!!!!
We both laugh but realised that from now on there are conversations that we should not have in front of Lenny as he has started to understand everything... in both languages!
