En route pour la France / France here we come!

Dimanche Lenny et moi prenons l'avion pour Lyon. En effet nous rentrons en France une petite semaine pour le mariage de ma soeur dont je suis la témoin et Lenny le petit garçon d'honneur.

Voyageant seule avec Lenny, il faut maximiser l'utilisation de valises et trouver des tout en un. J'ai donc acheté ce matin une valise pour enfant 3 en 1. C'est tout d'abord une valise qui passe en bagage à main, un siège pour Lenny ainsi qu'un "pousse pousse" pour qu'il joue tout en avançant! Je n'apporterai donc pas de poussette, car ce serait payant (Lenny ayant plus de eux ans) et il faut sans arrêt la plier et déplier à la sécurité, en rentrant dans l'avion, l'attendre à la sortie avec les autres valises en soute... Bref un calvaire! Je suis donc très optimiste quant à cette valise révolutionnaire qui a reçu de nombreux prix par les magazines dédiés aux parents.

En plus cela s'accorde très bien avec la pédagogie Montessori, c'est à dire: être responsable des ses propres affaires, préparer sa valise avec maman et la rouler tout seul. Cependant j'ai fait une petite erreur: je l'ai montré et fait essayer à Lenny cet après midi, depuis il la réclamme constamment et veut jouer avec!

On Sunday Lenny and I are going to France by airplane. Indeed we are going to my sister's wedding, I am the bridesmaid and Lenny the best little boy who will be in charge of taking the rings to the bride and groom. Therefore I have bought a suitcase designed for toddlers. It is a 3 in 1 suitcase, perfect for travelling with young kids on your own (Freddy is joining me on Friday). It is a suitcase that is approved "hand luggage", it is a trolley for the kids and a seat for them to rest. It is also good to make Lenny responsible of his own suitcase and he will help me to prepare it: it is in the same field as the Montessori approach I am following. I am very optimistic that this suitcase will make the journey easier. However I have already make a huge mistake with it: I showed it to Lenny this afternoon and let him play with it for 5mins, now he constantly claims for it and wants to seat on it and play with it!
